Piaget is well known for watches and here is the newest one.
On Thursday night, Piaget introduced the Polo S, a sizable automatic watch that manages to feel luxurious and hardworking at the same time. Its 42mm case has a unique shape-within-a-shape feature: While the case is round, a brushed-stainless-steel bezel gives the face a cushion shape. Look closer and you’ll notice a guilloche dial, a handy date window, luminous indices and hands, and a gliding sweep second hand accented on one end by a minuscule letter P. It’s a reminder that although this watch is brawnier than some of the others in the Piaget lineup, it still keeps time just as perfectly. (And for customers who want a little more function, the Polo S also comes in a chronograph for $12,400.)
That’s something that’s important to all watch owners, no matter what kind of guy you’re talking about. The company has enlisted a roster of truly international spokesmen that includes actors Ryan Reynolds and Michael B. Jordan, businessman and polo player Malcolm Borwick, novelist Jo?l Dicker, actor and singer Hu Ge, tennis player David Goffin, artist and businessman Mohammed Sultan Al Habtoor, musician Miyavi, and chef Jean-Fran?
As a group, these guys are strong, athletic, influential, elegant, and incredibly stylish all at once. What better group to pair with a watch that has all the same characteristics?
